"SmartMuseum as a way to present cultural heritage” (HUSKROUA/1702/3.1/0026)

The SmartMuseum as a way to present cultural heritage project was launched in September 2019, within the framework of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020, with European Union and domestic co-financing. It was created as a partnership of Ukrainian, Slovak and Hungarian public collection institutions.
The aim of the project is to make the available, large amount of digitized cultural heritage content a public property within the framework of a cross-border, common international theme and methodology, and to integrate it into the museum's offer in a form that can also be interpreted from a tourist point of view.
Learning history should be an exciting, fun experience! Traditional exhibitions are already a thing of the past, SMART museums are the future of cultural heritage. Today, in order to attract and retain tourists, a museum must offer something unique and exciting, all in an interactive form, and inform the target groups with effective marketing tools.
